Inner West Community Energy with the support of the City of Sydney is hosting an Information Night at Bar Cleveland, 243 Cleveland St, Redfern on Tuesday 14th June, at 7pm.

The session will be the usual friendly, action-packed format: an introduction to Inner West Community Energy, an overview of how we can help you install quality solar at your house or small business, and then it’ll be over to you to ask as many questions of our Project Officer, and one of our preferred installers, as time permits.

Questions like (but not limited to):

“My house is in a council conservation zone: can I install solar?” “Do solar panels need maintenance?”

“Are there some roof types that aren’t suitable for solar panels?”

“Are batteries worthwhile?”

“How much does quality solar cost?”

“Am I going to be charged for feeding solar energy into the grid?”

If you’ve got an ancient hot water system that you fear is about to die, you can get advice on how to replace it with a super-efficient new heat pump hot water service.

We are also now working with the Solar Share project in association with Allume Energy and their SolShare product, to help apartment dwellers get solar onto their buildings. The SolShare product makes it easy and affordable to install rooftop solar onto multi-tenanted buildings.

Inner West Community Energy is a five-year-old community not-for-profit group that works to increase the uptake of solar energy in central Sydney and beyond.
