Curatorial Statement
“Phones have revolutionised the film industry and now everyone has the power to make films and share their stories with the world.
11 years ago, when SF3 was founded, we could not have foreseen the spectacular advances in the use of phone technology – or the success we’d have in Australia and across the globe. At SF3 we are so proud to be at the centre of this movement and shift in filmmaking, inspiring thousands of creatives of all ages for the past decade. And now we get to share films shot on the smallest screens on stage at the world’s most iconic theatre.”
