Smart transport in China

Opportunities and challenges for Australian businesses

Supported by the City of Sydney

The electric vehicle market in China is now the world’s largest and is growing twice as fast as the US. The opportunities arising in the country are hard to ignore.

The University of Sydney China Studies Centre and City of Sydney invite you to join us at a business seminar, which is an ancillary event of the 2019 Future Asia Business Summit.

This event will be facilitated by Greg Earl, formerly national affairs editor and Asia Pacific editor of The Australian Financial Review. Hear from Luke Todd, principal advisor, Asia Pacific region, BYD, and Professor Robyn Dowling, Dean of the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

The Warren Buffett-backed Chinese new energy company BYD is the world’s largest electric vehicle producer. It has recently launched its ground-breaking D++ open-source platform in addition to its Smart Transport Vision. Our speakers will be discussing all things to do with smart transport with a focused lens on opportunities for foreign firms in China.

We hope you can join us.

Seats are limited. RSVP by Wednesday 17 July 2019 to secure your place.
