…small things… is a Petersham Baptist Church initiative that opens our doors to the wider community of makers, artists, and neighbours. It’s a gentle, joyful gathering that celebrates the handmade, and creative generosity.

On the day

• Mini Craft Market — A curated selection of small, affordable artisan goods created by makers from both the church and the local community. Expect jewellery, ceramics, baked goods, and other handcrafted treasures.

• Exhibition of Baby Quilts — A touching display of quilts made over the past 25 years by a diverse, multi-generational group of volunteer women. Each quilt carries a story of care, creativity, and community connection.

• Solo Feature: Sharon Marley — Award-winning quilter Sharon Marley presents a mini exhibition of her work and officially opens the event.

• Quilting Workshop — A ticketed, hands-on workshop led by Sharon Marley, perfect for beginners and experienced quilters alike.
