Slaughterhouse

A world premiere by trailblazing young playwright Anchuli Felicia King

Slaughterhouse is a world premiere by trailblazing young playwright Anchuli Felicia King, coming to Belvoir’s 25a series with international director Benita de Wit.

Something unspeakable happens at an ethical eating start-up. 5 witnesses are brought in to recount their version of events. But who is telling the truth and how far will each person go to save their own skin? It’s do-or-die at this cutthroat start-up company, and someone is going to be sacrificed.

Featuring Romy Bartz, Adam Marks, Tom Matthews, Brooke Rayner and Stephanie Somerville. Video and sound design by Anchuli Felicia King, production design by Brendan de la Hay, lighting design by Phoebe Pilcher, stage management by Bronte Schuftan.
