Simply Native Pop Up Kintsugi Workshop is back as part of Sydney Craft Week at Cafe 0.6
At this hands-on 3 hrs workshop, you will learn the Art Kintsugi method which follows the principle of traditional Kintsugi using alternative, more accessible materials that enable us to complete the whole process within the duration of the class. The aim is to create your original piece of art whilst contemplating and enjoying a mindful moment.

About Kintsugi
Kintsugi is a Japanese traditional knowledge of repairing broken pottery using lacquer and fine gold powder. It also embodies Wabi-Sabi's philosophy, an embracing of imperfection whilst appreciating artifact’s history and personal memories by decorating the broken lines with gold.
We will maintain the workshop under the Covid-Safe practices
Hand sanitizer will be provided at the door.
All materials and surfaces will be sanitized accordingly
