A school holiday storymaking workshop for 12 to 15 year olds

Adventure through dense jungles, discover hidden temples, take a trip to Mars or dive into deep-sea thermal vents.

In this fun storymaking workshop you’ll use shadow, illustration and physical theatre to create and bring to life your own worlds. Whether you want to design sets or get up on stage and perform, this world-building workshop offers the chance to do both.

Matriark Theatre will teach you have to make your own shadowscape world before stepping in to bring them to life.

This school holiday workshop is suitable for children aged 12 to 15 years.

Bookings are recommended as places are limited.

About Matriark Theatre

Sydney-based theatre-makers, Matriark, create new work for young people and families. Hailing from a variety of creative backgrounds, Matriark use puppetry and physical comedy to build worlds and imagine surreal characters and stories for the stage. Their work has graced numerous Sydney stages, including the Monkey Baa Theatre, City of Sydney, Casula Powerhouse and Riverside Theatres.
