Back by popular demand for the spring school holidays, curious kids aged 9-12 are invited behind the scenes at the Australian Museum’s Research Library for a full day of hands-on discovery!

Step into a world of rare books and tour the Research Library with the Australian Museum’s Library Technician, Anina Hainsworth, and Collection Manager Archives, Robert Dooley. Discover scientific illustrations drawn 400 years ago, try your hand at scientific drawing, plus create and bind your very own journal to take home. Learn the importance of books as a research tool for scientists and curious minds alike!

With exclusive access to the Museum’s Research Library, discover, draw and explore these school holidays.

Ages: Strictly 9-12 years. Two sessions available.
