Tuesday 3 October from 9am to 12pm
Young people will get an introduction to silver smithing in these half-day school holiday workshops.
Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, kids will first map out their ideas and designs on paper. They’ll then learn basic silver smith techniques to craft their keyring. To finish their design, they’ll use techniques like polishing or roller printing to create textured surfaces.
At the end of the workshop teens get to take home their handmade creations to attach to their school bags or to use as a keyring.
