The Australia-China Relations Institute (ACRI) at the University of Technology Sydney welcomes Dr Alexey Muraviev, Associate Professor of National Security and Strategic Studies at Curtin University. He’ll discuss Russia’s projection in the Asia-Pacific region and its relationship with China.
Over the past 30 years, relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation have moved from hostile stalemate to pragmatic partner cooperation, including in security and defence. The intensification of bilateral strategic relations is driven by shared global geopolitical and military-strategic agendas.
Dr Muraviev will be joined in discussion by Professor Bob Carr, Director of ACRI, and participate in a Q&A session with the audience.
