Loved and raved about by players, greats, and commentators alike, Rugby League the Musical is the ultimate celebration of Australia’s favourite game.
Inspired by his belief that rugby league is an exceptional pantomime, Denis Carnahan has constructed the perfect sideshow to the main show. The musical delves into topics of controversy such as penalty gate, Cameron Smith’s retirement, the Daly Cherry Evans debacle and of course the recent NSW State of Origin win.
While considering the season as a whole, Denis will also account for the week’s events and translate them into new, side-splitting tunes, making each week’s show unique. Also making an appearance will be a reprise of Denis’ 2013 hit, That’s in Queensland.
“Rugby League the Musical is as ridiculously hilarious as it sounds.” – Anthony Sharwood – Huffington Post.

“Thoroughly enjoyed Denis. . . Very creative and humorous!” – Todd Greenberg – NRL CEO.
“It was hilarious – he is a genius.” – Yvonne Sampson – Fox Sports presenter.
“Insightful. He knows what goes on behind closed doors. Great show!” – Geoff Toovey – former player, coach and rugby league legend.
