Revolution Renegade

Every night we watch ourselves scream Justice! And murder! We are silenced into our homes like starving wolves escaping harsh winter storms. How do we even begin to heal?

As every ancient civilisation has done before us, we open, we speak the unspeakable, we connect to each other so profoundly, suddenly life seems possible again.

Revolution is the vibe / Renegade is the go.

In ode to classic slams, we open up the night with an invitational open mic, witness raw talent cut their teeth for the first or thousandth time. Then vibe out to subliminal healing with a delicious collaboration, a feature poet (poetry = not the snooze type, the shock you alive/ bars you’ll be quoting all year type) jamming along live music from some of Sydney’s finest musicians.

Carrying the night will be the hectic/kind performance artist/poet / energy conductor MEL REE.

This is our contribution to the collective healing, our way to pay the rent, to cultivate community, hope, party, renegade.
