REuse and REpair

As the experts in creative reuse since 1975, Reverse Garbage’s mission is to inspire everyone to make reuse their first choice.

REpair and REwear: Celia will teach a range of basic stitches to darn or mend torn or worn clothing. Bring an item from your wardrobe, or we’ll supply a tear for you to repair.

Chunky patch stitching: Bec will teach stitching techniques to make your own statement mending patches. Use them to cover holes, or to bring new life to old wardrobe staples. 

Proddy rug making: Nicole will teach you how to upcycle your unwanted clothes and textiles into floor rugs or wall hangings. It’s amazing what you can create with a hessian coffee sack, old t-shirts and a crochet hook.
