It may be hard to believe, but the new and improved Marrickville Metro is getting ready to celebrate its first birthday!
To celebrate this milestone, Marrickville Metro is lacing up the roller skates, dusting off the jukeboxes and bringing back the disco fever for some old-school nostalgia.
The Retro Metro Festival will be a two-day weekend extravaganza including mouth-watering food, drinks, culture, art, and music. Locals and Sydneysiders are invited to see the centre and its retailers transformed with jukeboxes, pop-up arcade alleys, and more.
Taking place from 10am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, there will be a host of free events, performances, and activities for all ages to enjoy. After a day of celebrations, relax and dine at one of Marrickville Metro’s diverse and delicious restaurants or get groovy to the live music which continues after 5pm.
