Born in Montreal, Quebec, Alexandre has performed with the world’s leading orchestras from London, Berlin, Seville and Buenos Aires and this September he is joined by strings from Ensemble Apex.

Da Costa’s career has seen him receive accolades such as the Virginia-Parker Prize, one of Canada’s highest cultural distinctions, the Sylva Gelber Foundation Award from the Canada Council for the Arts and first prize in the Pablo Sarasate International Violin competition.

The concert will be preceded by a private exhibition viewing, a glass of wine and a light refreshment.

Doors open at 6.30pm. Concert commences at 7.30pm. This event will be held in the Grand courts.
