Qantas Wine’s Winter Festival is coming to Sydney! Come along and meet some of Australia’s best winemakers. Enjoy unlimited tastings of more than 200 wines, spirits and champagnes.
A huge line-up of premium Australian wineries includes Henschke, Penfolds, Brokenwood, d’Arenberg and Voyager Estate. Plus, there’ll be bubbles from Champagne Pommery and boutique spirits such as Four Pillars gin (we hear they’re bringing their famous – infamous? – Bloody Shiraz Gin!). There’s even a Sake Samurai to take you through a range of sake, whisky and liqueurs.
Enjoy a live jazz band, warming food on offer, and a complimentary Riedel wine glass for every guest.

Wine and cheese masterclass
Led by Kris Lloyd, head cheese maker of Woodside Cheese Wrights, discover different cheese styles and enjoy wines matched by our Qantas Wine sommelier, Chris Morrison. Tickets $50 per person and must be purchased with a Winter Wine Festival ticket
Winter wines and smoked meats masterclass
Chris Morrison, Qantas Wine Sommelier, will match winter wines with smoked meats. Alex Petryk, smokehouse expert from award-winning Pialligo Estate, will explain how meats are smoked, and together they will discuss perfect pairings. Tickets are $50 per person and must be purchased with a Winter Wine Festival ticket.
Champagne and oysters masterclass
A rare opportunity to enjoy the world’s most decadent pairing! Australia’s foremost expert in seafood, John Susman, and Qantas Wine Sommelier, Chris Morrison, will guide you through 6 different oyster and Champagne flavour matches. Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased with a Winter Wine Festival ticket.
