“Rhythm and melodies that were quite hypnotic and took you back to a musical throwback journey,” – Trevor Parkee, 2ser’s Favourite Releases of 2020

“An experimental tour-de-force... forged in a realm somewhere between West Africa and deep space.” – Shaun Colnan, TheMusic

Also on the line-up there will be two phenomenal acts from Monstress and Toque.

Cone of Confusion is a Sydney-based Space Jazz prog band with musicians from different cultural and musical backgrounds. This project blends musical curiosity through improvisation.

Their sophomore album is set to be released in October 2022 and their debut album was listed among 2ser’s favourite releases in 2020. Experimental, creative, and unorthodox, this music takes prog and jazz rock to another level.

Toque: Eccentric, bizarre, questionable, a blur of multifaceted nuance and dynamic explosiveness.. Witness firsthand the creation of weird jazzy ballads made out of excess emotions. The theatre and storytelling in this music is very much inspired by the likes of David Bowie and Kate Bush.
