Proclamation

When

Every day, 1am to 12am Wednesday 8 January to Sunday 26 January

What does the idea of a flag mean to you?

How does flying a flag make you feel connected to your homeland?

And what images or icons truly signify the way you feel about your connection to Australia as land and home?

Proclamation is a large-scale art installation at Barangaroo Reserve, flying 250 flags that explore Australians’ diverse ideas about land and country, belonging and possession.

Participants are invited to submit images online that reflect their precise or ephemeral ideas of, and connection to, land, country and belonging.

Please submit your image to proclamation@sydneyfestival.org.au. Call out closing date is 30 November.
