Pine Street Printmakers are a collection of artists who have been associated with print workshops at Pine Street Creative Arts Centre, a facility run by Sydney City Council, in Chippendale.
This is their fifth show exhibiting together at The Shop Gallery in Glebe after four previous successful and popular annual shows. There are a wide variety of subjects, styles and media ranging from relief prints and silk screen prints to photopolymer etchings and monoprints.
The artists are: Rebecca Baird, Lenore Bassan, Sally Beech, Vivian Berney, Libby Blainey, Claire Bridges, Tania Castro, Micaela Christie, Anna Couani, Gary Doherty, Warwick Hatton, Ann Leahy, Louise Madelaine, Kim Murray, Sheila Myers, Jordan Paterson, Diann Payne, Fiona Polkinghorne, Max Samways, Felicity Sherratt, Lisa Stack and Belinda Yee.
Covid-19 Safe procedures operate at the gallery. We require proof of vaccination (or with exemptions) and record names for contact tracing with the Service NSW QR code, supply hand sanitiser, disinfect our surfaces and have limited number of people in the gallery at a time (depending on the current advice), applying social distancing.
