Full of energy and vigor, Pat Larter's paintings developed from her lifetime of performance, posing and mail art.
Pat began painting late in life, after years of being the collaborator and muse to her husband Richard Larter.
Using the newly available glitter paints, Pat launched into her solo career with gusto, with several solo exhibitions until her untimely death in 1996.
Since then her work has been collected by National, State, Regional and private collectors. Several survey exhibitions have been held, including one at the Art Gallery of NSW in 2020.
This exhibition of timeless works is from her estate, including paintings and photo-collages.
