Saturday 14 February from 10:30am to 4:30pm Saturday 28 February from 10:30am to 4:30pm
Be immersed in a full day of creativity and cultural expression at our Pasifika printmaking workshops, designed for adults of all experience levels. With small session capacity, participants have the opportunity to work closely and be guided by printmaker and artist Noelle Moa of Ula&HerBrothers.
In the morning, explore fine art printmaking, inspired by Pasifika motifs and storytelling. Learn carving, mark-making and inking techniques while developing unique designs. In the afternoon, shift to textile printing, experimenting with colour, pattern placement, and technique. Participants print their designs on fabrics such as table runners and shirts and bring home their meaning works that honour Pasifika visual heritage.
