Children will head to Observatory Hill and create drawings to then paint their own impression of sea, sky and light in an acrylic landscape painting on canvas.
Inspired by the paintings in our current exhibition First Light: The art of Peter Kingston, students will view the exhibition and then explore Observatory Hill and create drawings to then paint their own impression of sea, sky and light in an acrylic landscape painting on canvas. (weather permitting)
This workshop will be offered on 2 different dates: Friday 8 January and Friday 15 January.

What to bring:
Covered shoes and an apron or old clothes – If you have a apron please bring it with you otherwise please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting MESSY!!
Your lunch & a drink – we will have a break in the middle of the day for ½ hour.
