Learn how to paint on clay with Artisans in the Gardens artist Araceli Adams.
Join us for this hands-on clay painting masterclass where Araceli Adams will provide you with a 28 cm x 19 cm bisque platter ready to paint with a Swimming Mangrove crab from Southeast Asia and Northern Australia. During this intimate workshop you will learn the ceramic painting basics and specialised techniques behind Araceli’s captivating creations. No previous experience needed.
The platter will be fired and glazed in the Casa Adams kiln and will then be shipped in its own gift box to the Foundation & Friends Office in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for collection. If you wish the platter to be shipped directly to you, you can choose to pay an additional fee of $10 for the postage on the day of the workshop.
Due to the intimate nature of this event, spaces are very limited so book in fast.

About Araceli Adams
Araceli Adams is Sydney based artist known for her fun, handmade and painted functional art ceramics. Her designs are inspired by Australia's rich biodiversity, with the aim to recreate the wonder and curiosity felt by botanists during the Age of Discovery.
