Step inside Haymarket’s beating heart and experience the Paddy’s x State Library NSW Photography Exhibition, a captivating showcase that transforms Paddy’s Markets into a living gallery of Sydney’s past and present.

Featuring striking large-scale photo murals and rarely seen archival images, the exhibition celebrates more than 150 years of community, culture, and commerce in the very precinct where Paddy’s story began. Each image captures the evolution of the markets, the traders who shaped them, and the generations who’ve made Paddy’s a Sydney icon.

Blending art and heritage in one of the city’s most vibrant spaces, this collaboration between Paddy’s Markets and the State Library of NSW invites visitors to rediscover Haymarket’s rich history through the lens of its people. It’s a powerful reminder that Sydney’s story isn’t just told in museums, it lives and breathes in the places we visit every day.
