Open Studio and workshops at Treetop Studio

Join potter and weaver Ruth Shteinman and textile artist Karlie Simring in Ruth's treetop studio in a leafy corner of Annandale.

Ruth and Karlie will share their expertise in three one-hour workshops in random weave, twining and embroidery. Throughout each day feel free to pop in to explore the multimedia working studio, chat with the artists and view a petite gallery with a selection of tactile pieces for sale.

Ruth is a mixed media artist combining techniques of weaving, basketry and ceramics in her art practice. Karlie worked as a Senior and Head Designer in the fashion industry and now explores traditional techniques to make modern wall works.  

This event is part of the Sydney Craft Week Festival 7-16 October 2022.
