Open For Inspection

Stories about life behind closed doors

In Open For Inspection you will meet two young Sydney househunters whose dream of owning their first home will mean evicting a couple of frail and elderly renters.

Think you’ve met the most annoying housemate? Wait until you see what happens when a Melbourne Phd student finds herself house-sharing with a shut-in and compulsive liar.

Two Goths bring new meaning to the idea of house-warming, we find out what really happens when Grand Designs go pear-shaped and a woman asks whether we really need to settle down at all.

Join MC Oscar Morphew and talented Sydney actors, Lauren Hamilton Neill and Alex Neal as they bring to life these fantastic stories by Jon Steiner, Anthony Lynch, Richard Holt, Susan McCreery and Samantha See.

We’ll have a warming brew, blankets and some fun audience participation to keep the chills away. Doors open 7.30 for a 8pm start.

This performance is part of ‘Homemakers of Green Square’ brought to you by Little Fictions Productions in collaboration with the 107 Presents program, a curated multi-arts program that celebrates artistic excellence, the power of creativity to connect community and showcases Sydney as a creative city to live, work and play.

Thursday 26 July 2018 from 8pm to 9.30pm
