One Leaf Knows Spring and Autumn – China–Australia Artist Dialogue Exhibition will be organised by China Cultural Centre in Sydney and presents 28 representative works from five artists with different cultural backgrounds and artistic styles from China and Australia.
One leaf heralds the fall and a drop of water reflects the whole world. With nuanced observation and unremitting exploration, five artists try to use cross-discipline elements and integrate Chinese and Australian different expressing systems to refine art creation from the perspective of theory and philosophy. The works offer their perception and understanding of life and the universe and lead the audience to reflect on the beauty of the world.
The world is full of vitality with diverse civilizations and civilizations appreciate each other’s beauty through mutual learning. The audience can tell not only the difference but also the common ground of the artists from their ideas and works. The exchanges in the path of art exploration between them represent no doubt the cultural diversity of the world and the common aspiration for the beauty of Mankind.
You are cordially invited to the exhibition created by Elizabeth Pulie, Fan Dongwang, Hong Li, John Aslandis, Qinhua Yao to investigate beauty as the curator Nicholas Tsoutas says, " We need more beauty to better understand the world we inhabit, share and live in."
