Once Were Warriors is a 1994 New Zealand drama film based on New Zealand author Alan Duff's bestselling 1990 first novel. Directed by Lee Tamahori and starring Rena Owen, Temuera Morrison, Mamaengaroa Kerr-Bell, Julian Arahanga.
