Join artist Iris Toren for an exhibition of paintings inspired by nature, in watercolours, acrylics and oils.

Iris is a painter based in Sydney’s East.  Her work is inspired by nature, both local and abroad – the ocean, the sky, trees, flowers, animals, birds and insects. She is also captivated by the classical sculpture of Europe and sketching these is one of her cherished pursuits.

Iris was traditionally trained in drawing and painting at the iconic Julian Ashton Art School, receiving her diplomas there and being awarded the prestigious Henry Gibbons Drawing Prize.

Since that time, her life has evolved both as an artist and practitioner/teacher of yoga and Iris sees these parallel paths as complimentary and part of her spiritual journey.  Through her art practice she endeavours to access states of flow and deepen her connection with nature and beauty. Each work is the result of creative meditation.

100% of profits from Iris’ artwork sales are donated to animal welfare charities.
