Saturday 26 November 2022 from 8am to 1pm
An organisation based in Western Australia, Ocean Heroes are excited to return to Sydney for the second time this year, to share the joy of surfing with the local autism community.
Learning to surf offers a fun, healthy, and unique way for people on the Autism spectrum to develop their confidence, boost self-esteem and make connections with others. Since the company was founded in 2016, nearly 5,000 kids with autism have come through to experience the thrill of riding a wave
They will be running a free event on Bondi Beach - with the capacity to take up to 50 people on the autism spectrum surfing for free!
Ocean Heroes provide lifejackets, surfboards, wetsuits, sunscreen, and surf instructors, so all you have to bring for the kids is bathers, hat, towel, water bottle and a change of clothes.
A great opportunity to have some fun in the sun, and meet other families in the Sydney autism community. All welcome.
Simply register via the website, or just turn up on the day.
