HEARD·SYD
An exuberant, surreal and explosive live performance
Produced by the City of Sydney
“I was really thinking of getting us back into a dream state, this place where we imagine and think about now and how we exist in the world” Nick Cave on HEARD (2013)
Set to live music and percussion, HEARD·SYD is an exuberant, surreal and explosive performance featuring 60 local dancers embodying American artist, Nick Cave’s mesmerising ‘soundsuits’ – intricate horse-like sculptures that traverse art, fashion and dance.
Previously performed in New York, Dallas and Detroit, this is the first time the internationally renowned Cave has brought a major work to Australia.
A colourful, vibrant display of world-class public art, Nick Cave:HEARD·SYD is presented by Art and About Sydney and Carriageworks.
Escape the bustle of the city and come fall into a dream-like state.
