Nicole will impart knowledge from her more than twenty years’ experience of working with plant matter to dye cloth and silk.

She will introduce participants to the basics of eco-dyeing, using techniques from her ancestral homelands of the South West Asia and North Africa region, with attention to engaging sensitively with the materials.

Participants will learn how to use readily accessible plant materials such as sage, turmeric root, hibiscus, pomegranate skins. The workshop will focus on accessible techniques that can be replicated at home.
