In this workshop, entomologists and professional educator, Dr Tobias Smith, will teach the basics on how to become a stingless beekeeper.

Suitable for: No age limit, anyone interested in native bees

What you will learn
Topics of bee nesting and foraging biology, diversity of wild bees, modern stingless beekeeping in Australia, using stingless bees for pollination of gardens and farms, and more. In the practical session, we will open hives and observe the amazing structures within. We will divide the hive into two halves showing the process of colony propagation
