Explore the modern world of miniature art at the Australian Society of Miniature Art (NSW) Annual National Awards Exhibition, with over 100 artworks on show.

Coinciding with the society’s 40th anniversary, the exhibition will showcase drawings, paintings, original prints, mixed media, sculptures, hand-made books and more, all the best of their kind. The subject matter and techniques are just as varied, ranging from traditional landscapes and still lifes through to abstract contemporary work.

All miniature 2D artworks have a perimeter of no more than 40 cm, and miniature sculptures are no more than 15 cm in any direction. These collectable works convey all the beauty and power of larger works but have the added appeal of being particularly personal objects, drawing the viewer in for a closer look at the detail that is an intrinsic part of this art form.

Entries come from all over Australia, with many artists being recognised for their larger work as well as their exquisite miniatures. This year’s entries will be judged by award winning artist Mathew Lynn.
