This exciting course combines the fundamentals of painting and drawing with an emphasis on developing your powers of observation, technical skills, and the satisfaction of creating original artworks from real life subjects.
Maryanne Wick teaches you how to prepare surfaces and mix colours in either oil or acrylic paints. She leads daily discussions about Australian and international art and artists, sets group exercises, and provides individual tutorials with detailed feedback about your work as you progress throughout the week, all in a supportive and friendly studio environment.
