Musica Viva: Masterclass with Pacifica Quartet

The City of Sydney joins forces with Musica Viva to bring you a series of free musical masterclasses and performances at Green Square Library.

Get the opportunity to absorb and observe 2 unique masterclasses. Members of the acclaimed Pacifica Quartet and Sitkovetsky Trio work with talented music students on a piece of their own work.

For primary school-aged students, there are 2 fun music workshops designed to develop a love of music. No matter your musical experience, this interactive performance will challenge, delight and enrich.

Musica Viva’s masterclass program invites their nationally touring artists to work with young musicians. Bringing unique perspectives on interpretation, technique and performance, come and join the audience and get a rare insight into the masterclass process.

Spirited and skilled, the Pacifica Quartet has won the hearts of audiences around the world for its passionate performances. In this masterclass, one of the Quartet’s notable instrumentalists will work with young music students to develop techniques in an interactive, open-lesson format.

Suitable for high school and university students, teachers and adults. This free event has limited capacity, so bookings are essential.

Green Square Library is wheelchair friendly.
