Saturday 29 April from 10am to 1pm
Led by an experienced facilitator in the Darling Square Library makerspace, this workshop is a great introduction to laser cutting using Adobe Illustrator software.
You’ll be guided to personalise a range of fun jewellery templates. Once you’re happy with your final design, we’ll laser cut or etch it for you. You’ll receive your design during the class and can add the hooks, clasps or cords to make it wearable.
What you’ll learn
Basic digital design using Illustrator
Basic laser cutting and jewellery making
What you’ll take home
1–2 laser cut pieces of jewellery in plywood or perspex
If your design is not ready by the end of the workshop we will mail it to you
