Mixed media basics workshop with Shazia Imran

During this workshop, internationally-renowned artist and AAD Gallery director Shazia will guide students of all artistic levels through the steps of creating their own mixed media painting on canvas. This will be done using tissue paper and collage as the base, followed by acrylic washes and paints which will be applied to form a mixed media surface.

Drawing will be done with charcoal, oil pastels and finished with acrylic paints.

Shazia will also touch on the basics of composition and the colour wheel during the session.

Students are invited to bring their own snacks, drinks or materials if preferred, but will guarantee to take home their own artwork created in this workshop.

  • Inspiring ideas to continue developing your own style.

Cost: $150 - includes art materials and a drink. And a canvas to take home  

You are welcome to bring your own materials. You can also pre-order an artist pack prior to the workshop.
