This workshop is for anyone who loves exploring different art materials and techniques.

You will be greeted by a complimentary welcome drink. During this workshop Shazia will guide students of all artistic levels through the steps of creating their own mixed media painting on canvas. This will be created using tissue paper and collage as the base and then acrylic washes and paints will be applied to form a mixed media surface. Drawing will be done with charcoal, oil pastels and finished with acrylic paints.

Shazia will also touch on the basics of composition and the colour wheel during the session.

​Students will take home their own artwork created in this workshop.

*Cost includes all art materials. You are welcome to bring your own materials and canvas. You can also pre-order an artist pack prior to the workshop.

About the tutor:

International award winning artist Shazia Imran is an accomplished artist and sculptor, Shazia is best known for her expressive mixed media pieces.

Her work is sought after internationally and is selling as an investment in Hong Kong and Singapore. Her work hangs in public and private collections in ­Australia, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Thailand, China and Singapore.

She has won many national and international awards including Lorenzo il Magnifico Award at the Florence Biennale 2015, Applied Arts Award at the London Biennale 2017, ‘Most Collectible Artist’ Award at Shenzhen City Art Fair, First prize at the 2018 Chianciano Biennale, 2nd prize International Confederation of Art Critics Award 2019 London Biennale and multiple awards in Australia
