In this variation of a kokedama or moss ball, we’ll create a mini Japanese garden in a ‘masu’ (wooden saké cup). Perfect for adding instant zen in your room or work desk!
We’ll be using sunagoke moss, a self-sustainable moss that has high tolerance to dryness and feeds on CO2 and air pollutants to grow. It’s fuss-free and easy to take care of, just spray or sprinkle some water when it looks dry.
You’ll need to bring
Nothing, we’ve got you covered for this one. Feel free to bring additional items (figurines, rocks) to decorate your masumoss.
- A masumoss kit including sunagoke, chrysanthemum charcoal, rocks and masu (wooden saké cup)
- A glass of wine (for participants over 18) sponsored by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly
