Randwick Boys High School Gymnasium is set to stage the inaugural SBL Masters Competition. Now is the time to sign up.
Competition Manager Janice Choo says the Sydney Basketball League is proud to be organising the Masters competition.
“Sydney lacks masters’ competitions across all sports, in particular basketball. There are many skilled older guys that are playing in current basketball competitions and have to compete against younger guys. We want to offer the chance of playing against guys of similar age and mindset.”
The SBL Masters competition will offer fully timed games. There will be 2 referees per game and no game duty.
“There is great communication between players and the league and we boast the best player statistics website in Australia. SBL’s mission is to give players the best playing experience”, says Choo.
The minimum age to join in the SBL Masters competition is 35 years.
Founded in 1997, Sydney Basketball League is the first and largest private basketball association in Australia with close to 1400 players, officials and referees. SBL has established 6 venues throughout Sydney with competitions in Randwick, Caringbah, Lidcombe, Glebe, Ryde and Blacktown.
Every week until Tuesday 4 December 2018.
