Marina Strijakova: When The Bush Begins to Speak

Works focused on Australian landscapes and seascapes.

Fascinated by the beauty of our planet from an early age, Marina expresses herself through her art, in a unique combination of Chinese brush strokes and western painting techniques for her oil paintings, and a unique controlled color flow style for her works in acrylic.

In When the Bush Begins to Speak, Marina presents her latest works focused on Australian landscapes and seascapes.

The Fairy Flowers section of the exhibition is devoted to her addictive experimentation with paint, media, solvents, oils and a variety of odd tools resulting in magnificent floral art on tiles and canvas.

Animals and plants were the source of a career for Marina Strijakova in her former Russia. Since arriving in Australia, she is transitioning her love of nature into art.

Marina, a mother of 3, has developed her love of nature into her unique style of art.
