Mardi Gras: Rainbow family storytime

Storytellers and educators use books, songs, dancing and craft to celebrate diversity.

Produced by the City of Sydney

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, the City of Sydney Library is hosting rainbow family storytime sessions.

We’re teaming up with storytellers and educators from the LGBTIQ communities who will deliver storytimes celebrating families of all shapes and sizes.

We have collaborated with PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), Rainbow Families and Twenty 10 (a support service for young LGBTIQ people and national provider of QLife for LGBTIQ people of all ages) to bring guest storytellers to our libraries.
