Thursday 21 January 2021 from 1pm to 4pm
Take some time for yourself in a relaxed clay making workshop led by Isolate Make artist and ceramicist, Glenn Barkley.
This workshop will focus on ceramic techniques and processes with an experimental flair. Participants will have the opportunity to make a small vessel or sculptural object and learn simple hand-building and mould making techniques. Bring along small objects from cloth to toys to create your own spring moulds.
Glenn is an artist, writer, curator, and gardener based in Sydney and Berry NSW, Australia. His work operates in the space between these interests drawing upon the history of ceramics, popular song, the garden and conversations about art and the internet.
Glenn is also the co-founder and co-director of kil.n.it experimental ceramics studio in Glebe, where makers take an explorative, avant-garde attitude to ceramics.
