Mabuhay Nights

Filipino Food Movement Australia presents Sydney’s first ever Filipino inspired dessert dinner

Mabuhay! It’s a term that evokes a myriad of joyful emotions, and to Filipinos it’s a greeting that means “Welcome!”, “To Life!”, or even just simply, a heartfelt “hello”.

Dessert Connoisseurs will undergo an explosion of the senses as they travel through an epicurean journey of Tamis Alat Asim (English form: Sweet Salty Sour) with a delightful introduction to the unfamiliar world of Philippine desserts. If you are a dessert lover then this is the perfect event for you!

Executive Pastry Chef of Hilton Sydney Miko Aspiras will bring his signature quirkiness to this highly anticipated Dessert Dinner connecting us to his Filipino Heritage and the complexity of Filipino flavours and cultural flair.

In partnership with Manila St (Sydney) and Filo Artisan Trade (Melbourne); The Filipino Food Movement Australia is proud to host Executive Pastry Chef Miko Aspiras for his first ever Australian event. Mabuhay!

The Filipino Food Movement Australia is a registered not-for-profit organisation composed of passionate foodies, business owners and community members who embrace their Filipino heritage. As Filipino-Australians, we want to share this passion and connection with the wider community.
