‘We are governed, our minds are moulded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of...’ – Edward Bernays in 'Propaganda'.

Edward Bernays, the ‘father of public relations’ eagerly awaits the latest cementation of his legacy... Oh, and that of his deceased wife, Doris Fleischmann. He is to be interviewed for feminist scholar Susan Henry's new book. But no sooner does the interview begin, figures from his past – his rebellious daughter Anne, his uncle Sigmund Freud, US presidents, and a fascist propagandist – return to haunt him. As Anne and her rotating wardrobe of characters vie for control of both the interview and the show, the cracks in Eddie’s own image begin to emerge, and he is forced to grapple with the reality of his own legacy…
