Lunar Lantern Festival celebration

Tuesday 15 February from 6pm to 8pm

Celebrate the Lantern Festival, check out beautiful lanterns created by the community and wish your neighbours a happy Lunar New Year 2022.

Bring along lanterns you have created or just join us to celebrate enjoy music, dancing, artwork, lantern riddles, lanterns and food.

If you need help in your own lantern we're running free workshops at 107 Green Square (Joynton Avenue Creative Centre) and Sydney Park Pavilion.

Spaces are limited, please register and call us on 02 9265 9101 if you are bringing your own handmade lantern to hang.

All lanterns created during these workshops plus other handmade lanterns will be on display for one week at 107 Green Square.

Covid-safe information

  • Covid safety plans are in place, please comply with the current NSW Government Covid rules and restrictions.

  • Don’t attend the event if you’re feeling unwell.

  • When you arrive at the venue, scan the QR code with the Service NSW app.

  • If you're over the age of 12, you're required to wear a face mask unless you have proof of exemption.
