Sunday 31 October 2021 from 8:30pm to 10:30pm
Louis Tillett is hailed as a cult hero of the Sydney Underground, but is also a celebrated International musician and composer.
In Europe he is called Rockpoet der Nacht. John Cale (Velvet Underground) added one of Louis’ tracks to his own album as a bonus track in recent years. Louis has had associations with the likes of Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen and other epic songmeisters, which hints to his own style of evocative, emotional and sometimes grand musical creations. His 11 albums are much loved and his vast live music career has seen him tour around the world. His exploration of his own music, and some covers he has made his own, will be played out in earnest on this night.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see this Granddaddy of Indie Music. If you love the blues, jazz, rock and even classical music, you’ll not be disappointed on this night - a vigil in remembrance of the dead. All Hallows’ Eve. This night is also dedicated to the memory of Hazel Barry. Bookings essential.
