Originally known as a powerful frontman for the 60s styled “Wet Taxis” outfit, in his twenties, before moving on to Punk-Jazz, Gut-Bucket Blues, Progressive Rock, and Improvised Sit in bands and Big Bands, in the role of Musical Director, Lead Vocalist, and multi instrumentalist, Louis is also a longtime Soloist.

His first Solo performance, was as a support to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, in Athens, Greece in the mid 90s. Since then his many European tours, and Sydney-based residencies have seen him hone this very special art form. The art of the Solo show.

With his Baritone voice, and distinct piano stylings...which feature everything from Classical leanings to thumping “Work Songs” the range covered in these Solo shows are well worth at least one attendance. The chances are you will be mesmerised, and go home more than satisfied, realising that you have seen something very special, and will understand why Louis is so often touted as one of Australia’s living treasures.
