Lord Mayor's Welcome for International Students 2026

Welcome to Sydney! Celebrate your journey with new friends, fun and food at this free event at Centennial Hall, Sydney Town Hall.

At the event, you'll be warmly welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore AO, experience Aboriginal cultures, and meet international student ambassadors from the City of Sydney while making new friends.

You'll also connect with services that can support your studies and life in Sydney, explore volunteer and career opportunities, and discover pathways into entrepreneurship and innovation to help you make the most of your time here.

The event is free, but registration is essential. Doors open at 5pm.
